Essential Elements offers essential oils responsibly imported from distillers and suppliers around the world. All oils are Organic, Wildcrafted or Unsprayed and always GC/MS tested.
- Certified Organic: a certification process that requires a set of production standards free of pesticides and chemicals
- Unsprayed: distillers who live and operate in rural areas may not be "certified organic" but are farming using organic practices without chemical pesticides.
- Wildcrafted: unsprayed plants that are harvested in the wild.
- GC/MS: (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) a method of separating the volatile compounds in essential oils into its individual components and identifying each of those components. Used in aromatherapy to determine the precise chemical constituents of an essential oil, and whether it is pure or adulterated with synthetic chemicals or other products.
